Bumps in the Road

The man I am dating has just been diagnosed with colon cancer. We had just reconnected and were beginning to build our relationship when we got the news. We have known each other for most of our lives (since kindergarten--he was my first kiss and first boyfriend in Grade 6) but we both had 27-year marriages to other people. It's been a few years for both of us since our marriages ended and we were ready to move on. Things were going really well for us when we found out he was sick. He has since had surgery and will begin chemo for about 4-6 months. The prognosis looks good and he has a great mindset. When I saw this bracelet I thought, "That is exactly what he is saying right now--fuck cancer!" I know he is going to love this bracelet and he is going to have a huge laugh when he sees it.
